Bitcoin Lightning (don't skip this bit)

We have enabled instant payments with Bitcoin Lightning right across the site.

For buyers, it's even easier than using a card.

They can buy 12 hour access, add scenes to their library, subscribe, tip, book services, buy physical goods, buy tickets to parties and events.

All DIRECT into YOUR wallet. Instantly.

All you have to do is get the Cake Wallet on your phone, choose a Lightning Address and add it to your User Account. As soon as you do EVERYTHING you post will light up with BUY NOW buttons. 

If people ask you what they should do to be able to send Bitcoin Lightning, tell them to get the Speed Wallet and attach their card/bank account to it for easy top ups (to send to you).

How to spend your Bitcoin Lightning :-

  • At a small scale - a few K a year -  you can use Bitrefill.com to literally buy a £10 Tesco Gift Card and get food. Or Flight and Hotels. 
  • At a larger scale you need to turn it into actual money. Some wallets allow bank account linking, e.g Speed Wallet*. PeachWallet is good if you don't like answering KYC questions and live in a civilised country. Exchanges like Coinbase are the standard.

*Open a new account just for this. If any issues, you don't mess up your exiting banking.

Banks

NEVER use a Personal Account for business. 

Banks subsidise Personal Accounts, so that can you debanked if they notice (and they are getting better at doing so). Nothing to do with our industry.

Which bank do I suggest? I use YourSafe.nl. They are fine with platform income into a Personal Account, (when they started they called it the Talent Account). 

If you will have lots of ad hoc payments from clients, you need their Business Account, and yes, FSSW is fine. A Business Account also allows a Trading Style for privacy.

Gifting Platforms

Your money on the platform IS NOT YOURS. Always be taking it off.

Make sure you have a SW accepting platform.

Bitcoin

Not really suited to this business because it is slower and more expensive than Bitcoin Lighting.

Stablecoins like USDT aka "Digital Dollars"

Good, but RN "click, play, enjoy" isn't quite there.

Mainly used within your wallet - SWAP your incoming Lightning for a Stable so that you lock the value. You avoid the swings in value of Bitcoin.

IMO, unless you use Stables already, you should be cashing out to bank accounts or Bitrefill cards rather than keeping major value in your wallet.
