• Platforms that limit what content you can post to a greater degree than the law requires. Credit Card companies will only get tighter. Even the relaxed platforms will probably have the screws turned on them.
• Platforms that monitor and control how you chat to your people.
• Platforms that decide how and when you get paid. That platforms ever convinced creators that they should hold their money and pay out as and when they could be arsed, is, one of the world's odder accidents of history.
• Platforms that report your income to the tax office.
• Platforms that add taxes on what they charge to fans, that you wouldn't have to add if you dealt direct. E.g VAT.
• Payment systems and banks that really hate us.
